Hater Comment, and Elites Gone Mad!
Earlier today, I stopped by over at Brooke's blog Getcha Nails Did to see what was shaking, and leave her a comment saying hello. Now, we all know Brooke. She's the go to lady,if you want other people to know about your nail/beauty blog. She doesn't have to do this. Yet she does. Now she's been on a break for awhile, but decided to say hello today, and let us know what's going on. Very nice of her. Anyway...later this evening I popped back over to see if maybe she had responded to her comments yet. While looking,I came across an awful comment left by some anonymous person,(how typical). Ranting about how awful, and shameful it was that Brooke was allowing her dog which isn't a,"show dog" to breed. Because there are so many dogs put down every year. Okay. So let me get this straight. If Dinky was a show dog, then it would be okay to allow her to breed? But since Dinky is just a pet, then she ought not to be allowed to breed? First of all, this hater does not have to read Brooke's blog. Second of all..... it is none of the hater's business! It's Brooke's prerogative to allow Dinky to have pups. And we all know that the puppies will go to good homes. But this hater's comment goes deeper for me. The thought process of this person disturbs me, and is a WHACKED way of thinking. Basically what this person is saying...is that it's better to not be born at all. Unless the DNA from the parents, is going to be from," good stock". I'm sorry, but I don't buy into this theory of good stock, and this translates into the human world. You do realize that we have elites, such as Ted Turner. Who own almost 2 million acres of land in the world, and have 5 children of his own. And he wants you, and me to adopt radical policies to have only one child per family. In order to save the planet. Or better yet, just don't have any children. Elites like Ted Turner don't like us average people. They view us like dogs, and cats. (There's too many of us) They don't think we deserve to have big families, down to the pet dog. Because we're not one of," them" the elites. They pretend that the foundations that they are in charge of,or donate to are for the good of mankind. But they really aren't. Just take the time to research. You'll be shocked at what you find. So what does this have to do with a nasty comment left on Brooke's blog? You ask. I'll tell you how it's all related. You see. It starts with the pets. Get the humans used to having their pets nurtured,or spade. Because supposedly we don't need that many cats, and dogs in the world. Then slowly train the humans to think that they don't need that many kids, through sex education class at public school. Because you need 500 hundred bottles of nail polish more than you need six kids. I mean that's nuts to have that many kids. But totally normal to have 500 bottles of nail polish. (Yes I'm being cheeky here...I'm allowed that, because I have around 600 bottles of nail polish. And sometimes it strikes me odd to have consumed that much nail polish, and yet I only have 3 kids). But the question is....do we allow ourselves to be trained into thinking that it's better to not be born, weather it's an animal, or human? And instead,be the consumers that we've come to be? Instead of having more people, and pets to love, and surround us? These are tough moral questions to consider. If you don't want any children,or only want a couple of kids then fine. If you don't want your pet to be able to reproduce, that's fine too. Just make sure that the idea originates from you,and not from some,"expert",who thinks they know best for you. Anyway....Hurray for Dinky! I look forward to seeing pictures of the puppies when they arrive. I'll leave you with what Ted Turner has to say on world population.

I also went back to check on Brooke. I hadn't read any of the comments. I just couldn't believe how mean and nasty that person was. They can't even own up to their opinions. Just darn cowardly. There are too many dogs & cats running around. Too many starving animals. I also think Brooke has a right to breed her dog. I'm sure she will have homes already for her puppies. Give me a break that only "show" animals should be bred. Ted Turner is plain wacky but I do like his TCM! I think wars, famine and natural disasters take care of the worlds population. We don't want to end up like China where your not allowed to have I think more than 2 children or is it one? It's amazing how some people with money are so opinionated. They suddenly know what's right for the world. I just can't imagine what kind of nasty people there are commenting on these blogs. Such angry people. They should be deeply ashamed of themselves. If they're such animal lovers they should be nicer people. Animals give so much love.
ReplyDeleteLucy- (sigh) It's hateful that some people spew such ugliness on the internet. As far as animals go..well, everyone has a different view about the plight of cats, and dogs. I personally think that it depends on demographics. Some cities, towns, have an over population of cats, and dogs, others don't. Hence, the push to have your pet fixed. Where I live,we have a lot of open range around here. No worries about,"too many hungry animals running around, and dying". And I can always use an extra outdoor cat, or two,to keep the mice at bay in the winter time. Yes,in China they have a one child policy. Which is terrible to take away a person's right to decide on how many kids they want to have. In fact in China, because of their culture,(boys growing up to be men,are expected to take care of their parents in old age)this creates the problem of a lot of girl babies being aborted. So there are more men than women as a result of this policy. Yes,it's a nasty business, trying to control the world population. I wish more people would listen to what nutters like Ted Turner have to say. Because it's people like Ted that are dangerous. He has the right amount of money, influence, and power. And we all know...that money talks. Anyway Lucy, thanks for stopping by,and sharing your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Ted Turner is a crazypants, and that the anonymous commenter from Brooke's blog was being very insensitive and rude. However, I'm of that opinion that overbreeding is a problem with all, because there is a limited number of people available or willing to take care of all of these pets and you end up with individuals who will kill/maim "extra" or unwanted animals, or drive them to a rural area and abandon them. If neutering is promoted across the board (for both "good" and "bad" pets) then I see nothing wrong with it. There will be more than enough people choosing to breed their animals in the country, so why should I add to the problem?
ReplyDeleteAnother issue is that the gestation period for dogs and cats is so short (two months on average), and the animals have pretty large multiple births (often a minimum of three), that it's very easy to max out resources and stress owners, or run out of people who want pets.
I think another problem comes from a person's opinion on animal psychology, and our tendency as a culture to assign human emotions and thoughts to our pets, but that's just personal stuff and needn't be discussed here.
Candiedmango- Thanks for stopping by,and sharing your thoughts. Yes,it's very true, that people assign human thoughts and emotions to their pets. Which isn't a good thing. We have to remember that pets are just animals to be took care of. The first dog my three kids ever had as an indoor pet, ended up having to be given away. He was a good dog,but we had some major changes that happened in our life. That caused us to have to give him up. My kids cried, and cried, but in the end they learned. That our family sticking together, was much more important than keeping the family dog. Yes,I agree. These thoughts, and feelings about breeding and what not have no place in the comment section of a nail blog.
ReplyDeleteNail Polish and Mises?? What else could I possibly want!?!?! This was a GREAT post and I am glad there is someone else out there sharing this info. I love to see when other people "get" what is really happening in this world, especially the eugenics and social engineering aspects. Keep it up, sister!
